Is Saltire Tax Ltd legit? Steve Wilson

 Have you heard of Saltire Tax company? Promises of getting a great tax refund? So are they legit? Saltire Tax Ltd is run by Steve Wilson. The business as it appears to be under his daughter name. Should I trust Saltire Tax? The short answer is no. As a previous customer the hassle I was left with after using Steve at Saltire Tax was unbelievable. They are also a company where if there's any issues and you need to get in touch with them. You will be waiting an extremely long time. 8 Months before a response after numbers calls, texts and emails That's correct, the first time we used Saltire Tax, they said I can open another 2 previous years and they will claim those for me. I did this straight away and contacted Steve and the company emails. Multiple times during the 8 month wait, we finally got a response. 8 months is terrible for any company to respond to a paid client. They then did proceed. I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with Saltire Tax Ltd ., particularly my experience with accountant Steve Wilson. My interactions with this company have been nothing short of a nightmare. One of the most concerning issues I encountered was the fact that Mr. Wilson requested payments directly into his personal bank account. This practice is highly unprofessional and raises significant red flags regarding financial transparency. Unfortunately, due to this arrangement, I have no tangible proof of the services I have paid for. Furthermore, the level of customer service provided by Saltire Tax Ltd. has been utterly appalling. After making my initial payment, I waited for a response for a staggering 8 months. When I finally received a reply, it was only to be met with further errors and delays. Saltire Tax - Terrible company to deal with Saltire Tax Ltd SaltireTax.com Customer service is non existent with this company and I would suggest anyone looking into using them should avoid if you don't want stress. I was recommended this company and sent them my details, they did get back to me and said they can claim my previous accounts. They charged £200 for doing this, so one year I was able to claim but Steve who runs the show, said I can contact HMRC to open another two years which have been closed and I can claim this back also. I got HMRC to reopen those two years, I contacted Saltire Tax numerous occasions and never got any reply. Getting in touch with them when you need them is basically non existent. During this time of them being reopened, I was getting numerous letters from HMRC saying I haven't submitted account and then I was getting fines sent to me weekly due to this. During this time, I called them, text them and numerous emails but nothing. 7-8 months later ...
